Nature-based solutions

Conservation landscapes

I have written on the ‘landscape approach’ to conservation in the Congo Basin and Rwanda, which aims to protect biodiversity across a mosaic of land uses including protect areas, logging, mining, and plantations.

Regenerative agriculture

Since 2019, I have conducted multi-sited research on the emerging regenerative agriculture movement in Europe. This includes several months of community-based fieldwork in Spain.
